Heigh Ho! It’s Off to Patreon We Go…

Although I love what I do and cannot imagine myself doing anything other than this – I know that in this crazy world of mine that it’s impossible to survive on fresh air with only a diet of hope and the occasional box of donated teabags.

And even though I may never own a fabulous house in Miami Beach or travel back in time to take tea with Jane Austen or shop at dusk in a hamlet populated by crones and goblins or enjoy a delicious supper with a talkative hedgehog – I  can still have wish fulfillment in 12th scale…

To Merryworth Town!

Fortunately, the vision for St M’s Parish Hall has been realised and this old and quaint parish hall has been created as a place for celebration and busy social interaction for besides the Christmas Coffee Morning to raise funds for Shelter- a UK charity offering assistance for those threatened with the loss of the very roof over their head and a Big Brekkie during Christian Aid Week.

Since September I’ve been tormented by the ‘Tooth of Autumn Present’ and although the pesky molar and I finally parted company last week, I’m now haunted by the ‘Tooth Ghost of Autumn Past’ which has had a severe impact on my daily cookie fix and has also kept me away from the studio lest I scare off any of the fellow artists with my wild look!

Wake UP! September’s Over!

It’s probably something of an understatement to tell you that I’m rather glad to see the back of September and that of the month before when my father died suddenly and even though I had walked away from our painful relationship some time ago, these last few weeks have been rather challenging to say the very least!

BUT can I have a drum roll please? For, wait for it; my websites are FINALLY published…

Screaming Carrots? How Exquisite!

Events took a somewhat eventful turn in February and although not entirely unexpected, the last few months have been of upheaval and change as I have moved abode some twenty miles north to York and as this ancient walled city is my hometown, I have been fortunate to have met with much delighted surprise at my return; rather like the arrival of the Prodigal Son over a thousand years ago but without the fatted calf prepared in my honour…
